Hi! I'm Cassandra, a early-career freelance writer and  fact-checker who has a passion for storytelling and dedicated to writing compelling and insightful long-form and magazine features. 

From a early age, I developed a love for reading , writing and for the news which led me to always reading newpapers from the Toronto star, metro to Canadian magazine publications such as Elle, Chatalaine, Toronto Life and. It eventually led me to going to Humber to study Advanced Journalism to learn and better hone on my craft in writing, During my time at Humber, I learned and fall in love with fact-checking which I enjoyed doing. Fact-checking is what got me to intern at Maclean's as a fact-checker intern which sealed the deal for my love for editorial and magazine writing. Since then, I currently work as a contributing writer at Finally Content and their cilent CAA magazine and fact-checking for Broadview.

I am looking to continue to write and fact-check for various Canadian magazine and digital publications and help bring and tell stories that helping reach others as they have done for me.
